How to overcome the fear of public exposure and achieve success on social media!
One of the quite frequent requests for GSR sessions is the fear of social media… Our lives are structured in such a way that many people feel the need to present themselves, share about their lives and activities, offer their services, and showcase their professional achievements.
However, in this process of self-presentation, many encounter a sense of insecurity: anxiety arises about who will think what, the fear that someone might cause harm, and the feeling that sharing something personal with a wide audience could lead to loss… Where does the fear of publicity come from?
It stems from our ancestral memory; even if we look back at the recent past of our country, we recall stories of someone reporting on someone else, informing "the right people," which often led to punishment (imprisonment, confiscation of property, etc.).
If we delve even deeper into human history, any form of "otherness" or distinction from the general "gray mass" could be persecuted… even to the point of being burned at the stake.
