Three sessions changed my client forever:
✅ she stopped taking antidepressants
✅ she started going out, meeting friends
✅ she was able to trust her loved ones and honestly talk about herself and her difficulties
✅ she stopped pretending, especially to herself
✅ she allowed herself to draw again
✅ she reached out to a mentor for help in finding a job
All of this can be summed up in one word: she started to come alive.
After long-term therapy with another helping practice, she came to a session, and we worked through her current states, touching a bit on the topic of her parents and her presentation of self.
The result was impressive for a start.
