Upon reflection, I realized that he himself doesn’t know what a father is—he never experienced paternal care/love/affection in his life, and he doesn’t know how to give that to his child.
• Resentment in my life is a key point; this feeling has been passed down from my grandmother to my mother, and from my mother to me… For a while, I often heard my mother express resentment towards her mother/husband/mother-in-law.
