Once, during difficult (to put it mildly) times, I had to, metaphorically speaking, step forward and shield my family with myself.
The responsibility for everything, the overwhelming workload, and an unsteady household forced me to "enlist myself in the army." In that same decade (1988, 1993, 1998), my parents and older brother passed away.
